Almandina Dress

I don’t think I would have purchased this online so I’m glad I ran into it in person. I was looking for a dress to wear to a couple late fall/early winter weddings and this will be perfect. I wanted something elegant but with an extra touch, so the lace under the bust is perfect (that lace section is fully transparent, not lined). It’s heavier than it looks in my opinion, heavier than other ASTR dresses I have at least. If you’re looking for a lightweight silk, this isn’t it. I like the heaviness in that it shouldn’t wrinkle too badly and I don’t need a bra. True to size in my experience. Most dresses (ASTR, petal and pup, etc) I wear a small or a 4. I am 5’3, 130-135 lb, and usually a 27 in jeans and the small fits like a glove.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous on. I was looking for something elegant that will still be on trend down the line. It fits perfectly. I am 5’2 ", 140lbs, and typically wear a size 6 or a 27-28 waist in pants and a medium top. It fits nicely in a small, but I took the medium as it fits a bit looser but still fits- exactly what I was looking for. Great buy; the material is high quality, and it’s a nice length that doesn't require any alterations.
