Porter City Sneaker (Men)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a bit of back and forth in my mind regarding this sneaker as there are mentions on fashion forums that these are inappropriate for dress wear, etc. However, when worn as a sneaker in the appropriate context (rather than as part of dressier apparel, e.g., with a suit), they are attractive and versatile. Very happy to have purchased these shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a loyal AE customer. Style is always great. The Porter is the 1st shoe where I have felt that the fit is off. It is too narrow as compared to the other sneaker, loafer and lace-up styles I own. Also, the shoe feels clunky. It is heavy. There is much play in the heal piece when you slip your foot into the shoe. It folds over inside the shoe. I wore the Porter's 1x and will be returning them to a store near my residence.
