Kai Low Rise Flare Patchwork Jeans

I had my eye on these for a while but ended up buying off the A&O website because they had a Mother's Day sale. These are a lightweight denim that has stretch but I find all A&O to run small. I ordered my usual size but could've gone up in these. They're pretty low so they hit on my hips mostly and I do not have a flat stomach. But it's such a fun pattern for a concert or 4th of July.

These graphic No Rice pants are absolutely gorgeous. The print, fabric, and overall design are stunning—I wanted to love them. Unfortunately, the sizing is a bit inconsistent. Because they sit low on the waist and have a very wide waistband, there isn't much stretch or flexibility through the lower hip area. I normally wear a size 29, which was too small. I then ordered a 31 because the 30 was sold out, but the 31 was too large in both the waist and legs. When the 30 finally became available, I ordered it and found the legs fit perfectly, but it was still too tight through the lower hips. It's such a shame because these pants are incredibly stylish and unique. If the sizing were a little more consistent—or if there were a bit more give through the hips—they would be perfect.

I really wanted to like these because the design is so fun. Unfortunately, the material is very cheap looking/feeling, back pockets are too close together and poorly designed. I’m 5’8”, 124-126lbs, and I got 26. The pants fitted well on the legs, not so much around the hips/butt (it completely squeezed/flattened my butt, yet it was loose up in the waist).

Unfortunately I had to return these gorgeous jeans because they were too small needed a 28 instead of a 27.
