Cold Shoulder Ruffle Gown

Funny reading reviews after trying a dress on -- I would probably never have ordered this online, based on the reviews, or even from looking at the photo, but I found it in my local store last evening and have it on hold. I think it's a really elegant and easy to wear dress, and the price is right for a one or two-time wear garment. I love that I can wear regular undergarments with it. I am wearing it to a gala event and I think it will be comfortable all evening. I am a curvy 5'4" and will need to have the size 6 altered a little as it too big on top. A 4 would have been perfect (I am usually a 6 to fit my hips but this dress has enough flow). It didn't come in the 4. Even though the one I tried is a regular 6, with 3" heels it will be perfect length. I may push those side straps up - it's a little princessy with them down. We'll see. Leaves a nice neckline for some interesting jewelry. I was prepared (though not excited) to pay more. Happy to find this dress. Hope I have occasion to wear it again.
