Alessia Quilted Hooded Jacket

First ordered an XL with previous Canada goose coats I’ve purchased -was very oversized - sleeves and body -but loved the design so took a chance and ordered the L -perfect fit! Still enough room for a heavy layer underneath if needed & at 5’ 5” hits just above the knee. The coat is a well made option for those who don’t need “ look at my designer coat “ !

I love this coat! It runs large. Being pear-shaped, it fit me perfect with some room to spare for a sweater. I usually wear large, medium looks fantastic. The style is not frumpy, it’s trendy. The embroidery is not obnoxious and the puffiness is minimal without sacrificing warmth in MD winters. I’m going to buy one in each color! Roomy enough to sit, walk around in and move my arms without that tight feeling. It’s perfect! Loose fit even though I went down one size.

After reading reviews, I elected to size DOWN to a Medium. Yikes. The arms almost covered my hands completely, and the body is gigantic. (I'm 5'5" and 145lbs) Even when zipped up, it's like Whoa! It's a very nicely made jacket, though, & I love the styling, so I returned it & ordered a Small. Fingers crossed. Also - there's no way I would have ordered this if it had the usual Goose logo on the arm that people can (literally) ID from across the street. I love that this jacket flies under the radar, if you will. No honking with this quiet gem :D

I looked at this for a long time, decided to splurge. First of all size medium, my normal size, was too big in the body and the sleeves were too long. I don't think I would want a small though, afraid it would be too small. For the price I was not impressed with the coat. Kind of blah. No impressive hardware, the zipper seemed okay. And if I am going to pay way too much for a brand, I want to be able to see the logo! Tiny , black, on the sleeve. Hard to see. Returned.
