Great jacket for the price.
I have had this jacket now for 2 seasons. It’s durable, good looking and warm. It fits true to size and is always in style.
My daughter’s always steal it from me for that nice oversized jacket look.

Started fine, insulation failed
After one wash, following proper was instructions, the insulation has clumped together badly. A bulk of the jacket has no insulation now and is effectively a decent windshirt.
I have probably 25 pieces from mammut, and generally very happy with their products. Especially their avy gear. But this piece is now dedicated to walking the dog. I won’t be taking this to the mountains any more. For a mammut synthetic mid layer I highly recommend the Rime In Flex and the Rime Light as well. Both great synthetic midlayers.

Not the Worse, Not the Best
This puffy works great in ultra cold environments under a hard shell. It is slightly bulky when compared to higher end puffy coats.
I ordered a Large and that usually fits me perfect, but this is a little tight, nothing to cry about but still tight around the shoulders.
I fear washing it however, from other reviews people have said that the down material will squash all over and no longer insulate as well, and I could see that being a problem with how large each of the chambers are.
Overall for the price I would recommend it to someone who likes to carry a puffy with them when going to work or skiing, but probably not to someone looking to conserve space in a backpack.

Light, packable and simple
Fits well around the collar and the cuffs, making it effective to lower temperatures than it might otherwise be.

Weird design choices
Very well made, very warm, but some of the design choices on this jacket leave me scratching my head. The zipper is on the wrong (women's) side which is incredibly annoying when you have a lifetime of it being opposite. And the upper chest seems to be the narrowest part of the jacket, just under the armpits. Lots of shoulder room, lots of belly room, very little room to breathe. I guess if you are shaped that way and don't mind the zipper this would be a wonderful jacket. But I am certainly disappointed in what on paper should have been a perfect jacket.

Exactement ce que je cherchais
Je voulais remplacer ma couche intermédiaire depuis quelques années, j'ai opté pour ce modèle. Super compression avec l'isolation d'une sous-couche parfaite, j'ai hésiter un peu, le modèle hybride aurait peut-être été mieux car je transpire beaucoup en montagne....mais, lorsqu'il ne fait pas trop froid je n'ai pas besoin de ma coquille.
