Akiya Mixed Print Satin Slipdress

This dress is nothing like the quality of this brand's silk dresses. The fabric is thin and feels cheap, and it has a drape like polyester. The fit isn't an attractive fitted shape, it actually gets tighter through the thighs, and hugs the hips in a very unflattering way. The dress also arrives incredibly wrinkled, so it probably wouldn't travel well. One of the things I love about this brand's silk dresses is how beautifully they travel, and how they don't show many wrinkles even after hours of sitting. This dress is worth a fraction of the sale price, and certainly not worth the cost of alterations if you are not tall. I'm 5'4 and would need to have the shoulders taken up and shaping darts put in at the bust, since this dress plunges well below my bra line.
