Details & care
These shorts are part of the capsule we designed in creative partnership with our friends at Agua Mágica. It imagines the outfit of a modern day 'mayordomo' - an honored role in Oaxaca dating back to the early 16th century. The mayordomo is bestowed with a great responsibility: to keep the mezcal flowing and the festivities alive. Salud!
- The cabana set was a common sight on beaches across the coasts of the USA and Europe in the 1950's and 60's.
- Our very first dark cabana set, evoking the embers in which the agave is cooked and and the nights enriched by sipping mezcal.
- Embroidery of Zapotec head.
- An elasticized back is linked to a drawstring.
- Edge stitching as a nod to the embroidery craft for which Oaxaca is famous.
- Zipper and button closure.
- Piped side seams and pockets.
