Holiday Party Perfect!
I am 5'5 and apple shaped. This dress did so much for my figure and was flirty (zipper down the back, lace around the edges), while being conservative enough for my husband's work party. I thought this fit true-to-size and bought my usual 16. One of the best dresses I've ever owned!

The Zipper Kinked at my Sons Wedding
The zipper somehow kinked pulling up the back of the dress and to the right!
I ordered and wore this beautiful dress in cobalt blue for a late September wedding. As the Mother of the Groom and slim 55 yr old I thought this would be a perfect dress for a September wedding. It was until about a quarter of the way through the reception. The zipper somehow kinked pulling up the back of the dress and to the right! My friends tried very hard to un-kink but it was impossible. There was nothing stuck in the zipper to make this happen so none of us understood the reason for the zipper kinking up. My friends tried every way possible to un-kink it. In the end they followed me around for the remainder of the wedding pulling the back of my dress down and standing behind me to prevent further embarrassment. I only wish I would have thought to take a photo to post to show everyone how awful it looked.
Needless to say I returned the dress and was compensated for the embarrassment during such an important event in our family.

Perfect Dress
I read all the reviews and most said it ran a little small. I generally am a size 10 and ordered a 10. The dress fit me perfect. I weigh 137; am 5' 3"; with bust being 36 DD. It fit perfect in the bust, arms, waist and hips. The dress skimmed my body the way it should. I did not find the sleeves to be snug at all. I guess we are all built different. I ordered the dress for a fall wedding and now I will shop for shoes. I tried a skinny gold belt with the dress and it looked really cute that way.

For Nicoles Wedding
I looked at this dress a month before purchasing. when I came in the store to purchase, the only one in my size was ripped slightly . So the Young lady that was helping me suggested we ordered it, I forgot her name now but she was awesome.
When the dress arrived , I believe it was delivered to my neighbor by mistake and I did not know , I called the store, they order me another dress no problem. Later that day, my neighbor knocked on the door with the dress. I called to cancel the order of the second dress, Every one was so helpful.
Friday was my cousin wedding and I received so many compliments on the dress.
I have 2 more family weddings this year. and I will be right back at Nordstrom's

Classic but Sexy
I ordered several dresses to try on for a fundraising cocktail party I'm attending and this one was intended to be safe as I was looking at some trendier choices. Ultimately, classic won as this dress was INCREDIBLY flattering, refined and sexy in a not-too-revealing kind of way. The cut of the dress took 10 pounds off my hour glass frame. And for the price point, I was happy to invest as I know I will wear it again.

Love this Dress!
I need a mother of the bride dress for my daughter's wedding in September. I just love this dress!! It is exactly what I was looking for. It is excellent quality and I feel a good value. The lace is not too thick or heavy. It has some stretch and is very comfortable. The V back and straight across neckline is stunning. I had to mail order so I bought a 4, 4P and 6P. The 4 petite (my usual size) fit according to my daughter but I felt it was a little too short and body hugging for my liking. I am 62, 5'1" and 113 lbs and the 4p came about 1-2 inches above my knee. If I was 30 years younger it might be okay but the 6p came just to the knee and I feel much more comfortable in it. Note: the sleeves are longer on the 6p, just above the wrist; they were 3/4 length on the 4p. The dress was only available in black and navy. I have the navy but will wait to see if more colors become available in my size this summer before making my final choice.
