A size 12 would do but only 14 was left so I took it (for days when the weight fluctuates like today). I had to cut off 4 inches in length but that was ok for me. The dress is beautiful! i felt great in it. 1 draw back - the loop on the belt itself came apart. This is the first time that i am wearing it and no loop. Luckily the belt is quite stiff and remains in place on its own.
