Traverse Tall Boot

I love the simplistic style of this boot and the suede is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately the boot is too tall for me so the calf opening is too big. If the boot were 1-1.5” shorter, they’d be perfect. So disappointed since I love them. Really wish I had looked on Aebo’s website for measurements since they’re not included here (their measurement chart is pretty amazing!).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last pair of Abeo riding boots were the most comfortable I’d worn. But after years of scuffs on the city streets it was time for a new pair. Unfortunately, the flatter Compass riding boot which closely matches was not available in my size. The Traverse has a dressy look and a slightly higher heel which I personally found a little less comfortable for extensive walking on city streets. Also, I found the calves a bit tight. I typically worry about the opposite. Nevertheless, this is a well made comfortable boot, I’d recommend.

These boots look great and the leather is beautiful. However, they are too tight in the calves and too loose in the ankles and toe area. This resulted in my foot moving around inside the boot causing rubbing and blisters. I couldn't go down a size because the length was the right size. They were so uncomfortable and I ended up limping by the end of the day and got a shin splint. Weirdest shoe experience ever.
