Not comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought these boots would be comfortable, with rounded toes and no seams. But I was very wrong. The leather is stiff and will not break in - it rubs on both sides of my upper foot at the widest part. It just doesn't feel right when walking - my foot slips even though it's the right size. Also it presses down on my foot from the top and does not flex when I step. For some reason the insert is very hard and not cushioning at all. Very disappointed in Abeo, which I usually do very well with.

Loved the look
I have been on the search for walkable, lower heeled, comfortable boots. I loved the look of these but they were not comfortable & ran big. The top of the boot was stiff and hurt my shin when I tried walking in them. They are heavier than I wanted also.. They are going back, unfortunately.

Did not meet expectations
These boots do have good arch support, but they are really hard. Much harder than boots I own that are not made for walking or foot pain. A little more cushioning would really help. Unfortunately they're just not that comfortable.

Pretty but not as comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a very nice looking pair of boots. Sturdy and sleek, but not enough padding. I bought the metatarsal style but the cushion is not enough. And I can feel everything when I walk so I only wear them for short periods of time. Maybe for someone without any type of foot problem.

Stiff
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bouts are beautiful! But they hit me around my ankle that makes it feel strange. The bouts are stiff! I am sure after I get them broken in and after lots of wear they will be great. They fit perfect!

Did not work for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots did not work for me. They were an instant "no." I have a high arch and wide forefoot. The size 10 medium width felt way too loose around the heel and ankle, so it was not secure on my foot. The leather was not particularly soft either. I went with the Ros Emmerson 10 wide boots instead for a much better fit. Both the Ezra and the Elsie fit well, and I just kept the style I preferred.
