If the color name indicates Metatarsal, then the footbed has a build-in Metatarsal pad. Built-in orthotics in these long boots provide superior arch and heel support which help relieve foot pain and fatigue. A zipper closure keeps your feet snug and secure, while premium leather uppers complete the look of these sleek boots for women.

Amazing comfort
Bought these in a size larger than I wear, due to living in cold country, where I need heavy socks in the winter. They are so comfortable! The arch support and sole, in general, are perfect. I have bone spurs and have had a toe fusion, so I have trouble finding comfortable shoes. What a find. The side zipper is so much better than pull on boots. The quality for the price is incredible. True to size. Highly recommend.

wish the calf circumference was a tad bigger.
I love the compass tall (metatarsal) boot, but I will have to look for one that has a bit more room in the calf. I don't mean wide calf, because they are way too wide. I need one that is 4 cm wider, that way I can tuck in my pant legs and still be comfortable. Hope I can find one that also gives arch support.
