Avenue Strap Heels

These shoes are amazing!!! I have never experienced this level of cushioning and support, AND they are stylish and don't look like orthotic shoes! I love that the uppers are made of nice leather, rather than cheap plastic materials. My podiatrist told me about this brand. I have a Morton's neuroma along with plantar fasciitis and the beginnings of a bunion, so shoes with a narrow toe box and high heels with little support don’t work for me. I ordered the “metatarsal” option and it immediately takes pressure off the front of my feet. (I also ordered the “neutral” option to compare, and that was still amazingly comfortable but I went with the “metatarsal” for extra cushioning since I have forefoot pain.) My arches also feel well supported, which is a huge relief. The toe box provides enough room for my toes to rest in a natural position, rather than being crammed together. In my opinion, these shoes are made to fit actual, REAL feet. (They seem wider than most standard M width shoes from other brands, but I think most standard M width shoes are cut too narrow and scrunch your toes.) I perform as a musician at wedding receptions and need shoes that offer comfort, support, and look dressy enough to wear on stage, and these check all the boxes for 3-4 hours on my feet. The heel is 2 inches, which gives some height but it’s reasonable and my feet feel secure with the block heels. I am blown away by this brand and the various styles of shoes they offer. They are an investment in terms of price, but I’d rather pay for quality, supportive shoes than deal with foot surgery!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these heels to wear to a wedding. I have a hard time finding heels that I can tolerate walking in for more than a few minutes, as I have an issue with my toes. I can walk and dance in these heels just fine! The velcro toe strap is helpful in adjusting the width to accommodate my toes. These heels are very supportive and flexible. The only room for improvement (& why I gave them four stars) is that the straps aren't super comfortable, though these still are the most comfortable heels I've ever worn!

Purchased sandals to wear to wedding based upon the good reviews. The sandals were very stiff and uncomfortable especially around the ankle area from strap and top part of sandal that hits back of ankle. Really wanted these sandals to fit comfortably but based on my foot issues these sandals will not work.

These shoes are just the Best. I wore regular heels to a concert in Vegas and my plantar fasciitis was just awful . I thought I may have to quit my job as a Pastry Chef because of the excruciating pain that had me in tears walking down stairs. My dilemma trying to find some heels that looked beautiful matched my dress for a a black tie formal outdoor destination wedding. I am soo happy for this purchase . I was in these heels all day till late at night. I do have inserts from Good Feet store because I have a severely high arch. I was in the wedding with my gold dress including Jessica's Mom and her Fiance's Mom and Grandmother. We were all flower girls :) So all day till possibly 2am walking on all types of surfaces grass , rocks, down cement stairs, Dance floor, dirt , steep trail to the restroom. Super comfortable all night long. and much safer than other heels plus elegant and matched my dress. I literally have the worst time with almost all shoes my heel is super narrow, my toes are very wide plus I guess I have hammer toes so a couple of my toes are crunched up so they will rub on the top of shoes. the strap on these that goes over the front is completely adjustable for a perfectly comfortable fit. also because of my high arch it is hard for me to find sandals or any shoes without laces because the top of my feet above my arch just gets smashed or tightly bound underneath the shoe. These are a complete game changer for me and I plan on going to Vegas next weekend and I'm super happy and ready to know if I go to a concert or comedy show or out to a steakhouse I can look great from head to toe and not worry about being in pain or being miserable for months with a plantar fasciitis flare up. This pain I would not wish on anyone even if I had enemies would not wish on them. HAPPY FEET! I also purchased some work shoes today and really looking forward to trying these out too.
