Classic five-pocket jeans cut slim through the legs are crafted from stiff, raw selvedge Japanese denim that breaks in and contours to the body over time. Those in the know suggest sizing down and washing very infrequently, allowing the denim to conform to your shape and take on personal wear lines and fading unique to you.

Downsize
These are definitely a great denim. Make sure to get 2 sizes smaller than what you wear. Squeeze in now and they will fit perfect later when they stretch.

Poor durability, many better options out there
I am writing this after having worn my pair just about every other day for 11 months. From the start, they were uncomfortable which I expected and was ready for. Sure enough, after time they became more comfortable. However near the 6 month mark, the waist stretched out drastically. I could no longer wear them without a belt, despite going down two sizes before buying (as was recommended by a sales associate).
I sucked it up and wore them with a belt for five more months until yesterday, when they ripped at the seam on the outside of my left leg. I've never had a pair of jeans give out after that short of time, and I even intentionally put less stress on these.
Overall I was disappointed by the quality of the jeans and can not recommend this company. There are much better options available at a similar price point.

Great Selvedge Jeans, but beware of fit
This is the second pair of APC PS jeans I have owned. These are some of the best raw denim jeans available at this price. I would classify these jeans as a slim skinny fit. Please note that the rise is very low, so if you don't like to wear them low, these jeans aren't for you. They do stretch out 1-2 inches in the waist and thigh. I normally wear a size 32/33 in Levi's, but I'm a 31 in these. If you want great quality raw denim, these are for you!

Great Jean!
Beautiful pair of denim. I took my size in levi's (33) and ordered these two sizes smaller (31). They were a little snug in the beginning, but like how everyone said, they quickly stretched and became very comfortable.

A.P.C. never lets me down.
A.P.C. has been my go-to for denim for a few years now. These jeans are incredibly durable for their weight, and the fit is like no other. These run a little bit big in the waist, so definitely go down at least one from your normal size for a fit like Levi's 511 or two sizes if you like the legs a little slimmer. They will be very snug at first, but these jeans will stretch out and mold to your body after a few wears. I will absolutely be coming back for more.

These jeans are made to laat
I love how rigid the denim is. These are my second pair and am pleased how they wear in so nicely. I would recommend getting one size down since these raw denim gives a light give and will mold into your body.
