Darla Slide Sandal (Women)

I was looking for a more stylish alternative to Birkenstocks for the Spring & Summer in SoCal, but these are a no from me. The sandals are so much wider than I expected & the rubber bottoms make these heavy & clunky. The materials seem very nice & the color is beautiful, but these are just as wide as Birks & were not what I was expecting.

These are so cute. But that doesn’t matter when you can’t wear them due to them shredding your feet. I left the house at noon to run a bunch of errands with my toddler. I wasn’t planning on being back home for several hours. By 45 minutes in I had two blisters on both feet requiring me to tap into my daughter’s Frozen bandaids stashed in the car. By 3pm I’d ordered a Nordstrom pickup order for some Birkenstocks of same color and praise God the kind lady checking me out allowed me to return the shoes right then and there.

1st off, these sandals are absolutely gorgeous. The suede is beautiful and so is the gold buckle, and the materials are super high quality. I have wide feet so the width everyone mentioned here didn’t bother me much but the left shoe absolutely destroyed my foot! I’m honestly not sure if it was the buckle or the leather under the buckle that gouged my foot but it left a terrible mark on my foot that will take a while to heal, right here as we are moving into sandal weather:(. I wanted so badly to love these as they really are a beautiful shoe but I believe they need a redesign. The left shoe makes a weird clicking noise as well so unfortunately I will have to return them. Unfortunately I purchased these as soon as they came out last fall and I’ve thrown away the box so I’m hoping I can still return them. Buyer beware on these!
