Excellent Lip tint
The color Empower is a great cafe mocha (slightly reddish) sheer tint and is very comforting to the lip. It is not as shiny as the Turtle Limited edition color Star Flower (which I love but can't seem to find in stock), but I actually think I like it better and it is almost $20 less! It is a very natural look for my reddish lips and fair olive skin. Chantecaille really has some outstanding lip products; I've been purchasing since Nordstrom started carrying the line years ago. They do have excellent other products, but sort of expensive so this is my cheap thrill with them!

Super natural
I purchase a couple of this lip tinting products every year because of its beautiful and subtle colour and natural finish. I hope chantecaille will continue to produce this. I only deduct one star from my overall rating because I think it could be more hydrating, like the tinted lip balm from Augustinus Bader.

Sheer colour
The colour is very sheer so it doesn't appear as dark or brown as it looks in the tube. Really reminds me of Clinique Black Honey. Both have sheer application and leaves a hint of colour and gloss. Quite expensive when you apply a lot as a lip balm but it's worth it in the sale.
