What it is: A scented candle housed in a dark-colored glass vessel that's a beautiful focal point for any room.
Fragrance story: An irresistibly warm and smoky scent of burning wood reminiscent of a winter day huddled by the fire radiates a mysterious yet comforting fragrance.
How to use: The first time you burn your Diptyque candle, allow it to burn for at least two hours until the whole top is liquid with wax to help it burn more evenly next time. Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4-inch length, which will allow the candle to burn slowly and will help avoid black marks around the edge of the glass. After blowing out the candle, recenter and straighten the wick.

My fave
This was my first Diptyque candle and I have just replaced it. I love the uniqueness of this scent, woody and heady without being overpowering. It is very well balanced and I love the dark green/black vessel. Good for larger rooms, as it is strong. I have the largest version of this too for show, but the strength of this size is perfect for me. Worth the expense.x long lasting.

Lost Nordstrom notes because of a broken candle
I LOVE Diptyque FdB. LOVE. Unfortunately it arrived broken. After many conversations with Nordstrom, they refunded me. However, I lost $60 of Nordstrom notes in the process through no fault of mine. I am very disappointed in Nordstrom CS.

pretty sure I got someones damaged return
Arrived chipped with a crack down the whole side, wicks already trimmed short but wasn't lit. The chipped off pieces weren't in the box, so I think this was a previous return. I bought during extra points event and they won't just send a replacement first so I'll be losing points. Shouldn't even be asking for it back bc they'll end up doing this again when they try to ship it to someone else

excessive smoking
This candle produces excessive smoke when burning even when the wick is trimmed properly. Really bad for indoor air quality.

lovely
this candle has a nice very true smokey fire scent, i used this over christmas and it really gave the vibes next to my electric fireplace haha. i do feel it’s quite strong for my own sensitive nose, but everyone who came to visit adored it and kept commenting on it! nice for winter time but don’t think i will use it over spring and summer.
