58L rectangular sensor can with voice and motion control

Details & care

Just say, "open can" and the lid opens automatically, so throwing trash away is quick, efficient and hassle-free. You can also say, “stay open” while performing longer chores or cooking, and the lid won’t close until you say, “close can” (or it will close automatically after 10 minutes). It also has a motion sensor that opens the can with a wave of your hand and is smart enough to adapt to you and the surrounding environment — no false triggers, no unexpected lid closures. This can features our innovative liner pocket, which stores and dispenses liners from inside the can for a faster liner change. The liner rim lifts up for easy access to the liner, then closes to grip and keep it neatly out of sight, and the can's stainless steel surface is protected by an invisible silver-ion coating that resists fingerprints and germs. ADA-compliant. Our Code Q custom fit liner fits this can perfectly — no bunching or slipping for a cleaner trash experience. Liner refill packs store easily in this can's liner pocket.

• high-performance voice and motion control: Life is messy. That's why we develop sensor technologies that offer quicker, cleaner access to our cans. Whether you want to cut down on germs or footsteps, our goal is to remove friction and effort from the task.
• I hear you. It only takes one microphone for accurate voice recognition, even in loud, busy environments. Just say, "open can" — or you can say, "stay open" for longer chores then "close can" when you are finished with your task.
• mini, mighty and whisper quiet: Our powerful motor is small enough to fit neatly into the hinge, so no bulky mechanics block the wide opening of the can. And it's nearly silent.
• streamlining the task: Our unique liner rim system is a faster, neater way to trash. The outer lid lifts up for easy access to the liner and closes over it to keep it neatly out of sight.
• always at your fingertips: Our liner pocket stores a 20 pack of custom fit liners and dispenses them one by one from inside the can.
• cleaner stainless steel: Our invisible silver-ion coating resists fingerprints and the spread of germs without dulling the natural sheen and luster of the steel.
• pod in, odors out: Includes our all-natural odorsorb pod that fits discreetly under the lid of your simplehuman can to eliminate trash odors for 45 days.
• perfect fit — extra strong: Our code Q custom fit liners fit this can perfectly so there's no bunching, slipping or messy bag overhang for a neater, cleaner look. They are also extra-thick and double-seamed so you can pack your trash to the rim without rips, leaks or tears.
• optional compost caddy: Add our compost caddy to your trash-sorting routine — it conveniently docks on the side of this trash can encouraging you to separate organics from trash, making waste management even more efficient.
