Lace-Up Boot

The contstruction of these boots is completely unacceptable. Ive worn them twice and they are literally falling apart. Not what I would expect after paying close to $100 for them. Love the style and color but poor quality. The laces of the left shoe ripped into three pieces the second time I tried to put them on and tighten them up. Ignoring this red flag, like a bad relationship with a pretty face, I found some leather string at a craft store and fixed them up. So then I did actually get to wear them for the second time...and they disappointed again. The entire sole of the right shoe is coming unsewn and peeling away. It appears the stitching is poor quality and the sole is barely attached. I really really wanted to love these shoes. The color is great, they fit well, and they are super stylish. But after wearing them twice and having them basically fall off my feet. I would not recommend them to another person. After reading all the positive reviews here I hope my pair was just a lemon.

I bought them in black. Apart from the initial adjusting of the TAPELESS laces that is very time-consuming, and being difficult to put them on and take them off, there is another main flaw: the color rubs off! I tried it on with a skirt for the first time, and after I took them off, I noticed my hands and legs are black! I still like the style, so I'm not sure if I should keep them or send them back.

I normally wear a size 6 but I had to buy a size 5. They run big, however it will take a few times of wearing it to break them in. Its too tight in the front and the back are a little loose. I wish they made a 5.5 would of fit perfect. I had tried on a size 6 but was way too big. Otherwise, Its a great looking boots, versatile, and light as a feather.
