Can’t Wait to Travel!
This thing is beautiful. Even the cardboard box and cloth bag it came in are beautiful. I can’t believe how many zippered compartments there are for various things. Everything is high quality. The outer pocket is a no-brainer to me, spend the extra money on it if you can especially if you travel with a computer; it lightens the load off your shoulders while traveling (which makes a huge difference if you have any reasons - medical or not - that make carrying heavy backpacks or duffle bags difficult). The combination lock was easy to change. So I guess anyone reading this far down would wonder why 4 stars and not 5. It’s because while the color is pretty, it does not look like the website. The website Olive looks like a deep Olive with a metallic sheen. The actual Olive is plastic army man green, which is fine, I’ll keep it. I was torn between Olive and Terracotta and now I’m left wondering if I made the wrong choice. But I’m not going through the effort to send it back and then what if I don’t love the Terracotta? Anyway, lovely product! Check out the competitors’ carryons with outer pockets and see how different they look than Monos. Now I need to buy the compression bags and I’ll be set to travel when we can roam this earth again. Those of us who are essential hospital workers are relying on you to trust our suggestions to please stay home, wear masks when out, and don’t congregate with others; you’ll help COVID disappear so we can travel soon!

Expensive suitcase that handle doesn’t work
Let me first start with the pros of the suitcase. It is a cool, looking suitcase, but it kind of stops there. For the money, the zippers, the pockets, and everything else on. It is fairly cheap. And I could probably even deal with that, but the biggest Problem with the suitcase, which I wish I would read reviews on, is that the handle doesn’t fully pull out if you have your suitcase packed. This is absolutely ridiculous, it should be able to telescope the handle all the way out no matter how much clothes you have in it. I have $30 suitcases that don’t have that problem. We also own an away suitcase, and that seems to be way higher quality than this one. Also make sure to check what airline you ride on because the pro isn’t within the regulation size for a carry-on.

Not a Carry-On
The standard carryon limit is 22” and this one is 23” don’t make the same mistake I did and have to check your bag last minute.

Handle Will Break
My roommate and I both purchased this luggage. The wheels are smooth enough on tile but don't work well at all on carpet (but few wheels do)
The big issue is the handle. We both have issues with the handle. Only 2 of the 4 height settings work. We've both only used this 3 times. The highest setting and the lowest settings work but not the in between settings - they just fall down with the slightest touch. Both of us are 5'4 so we need the medium settings.
I honestly wish I'd never purchased these bags without buying one and testing it out fully. I got the full set and deeply regret it - overall the bags look thrashed after one use - lots of marks that don't come out, dents, etc. I ended up buying the plastic cover protectors and those are also starting to rip.
It was between Monos and Away and I don't see the luggage from Away having nearly the same issues. If you are on the fence, go with Away!!

Above and Beyond!
I am obsessed with my suitcase and Monos’ Customer Service! The suitcase is durable, lightweight, easily packable and fashionable. It is a dream suitcase!
I also want to shout out Monos’ Customer Service because they truly give “Grade A” Customer Service.
I received this as a gift for my wedding and it wasn’t going to make it in time for my honeymoon. Monos’ customer service bent over backwards to get it to me in time! I was fully aware it may not make it on time because I gave such short notice but they worked their magic! I can’t promise that they will be able to accommodate every request but I can promise you that they will sure do their dang best! LOVE LOVE LOVE MONOS!

Disappointed
Neat design and was attracted by the laptop storage space. Used it as a carry on for one flight and it’s ruined with scratches visible everywhere. The finishing material is poor and cannot withstand travel. The threads around the zipper came off in a couple of uses and getting stuck. Not worth $300+.

Great Design & Execution
