2-Eyelet Boat Shoe

These shoes look great. I have the black ones and was surprised by good black boat shoes can look. I especially appreciate the way the brass/gold details stand out. They are formal enough to wear with professional attire (though I wouldn't wear boat shoes with a full suit and tie), or casual enough to go with jeans. I usually wear a 9.5 extra wide or 10 wide and am comfortable with the size 10.5 in these. I don't notice any discomfort after wearing them all day, even if standing a lot, but they are not ideal for long distance walking. That is by design as this is a very bare bones shoe without extra cushion. That said, they're perfectly fine for moderate walking in urban or unpaved areas. Soles have pretty good traction, too, and the leather seems fairly durable.

I've been wearing Vans since I was 14 years old, and now at 61, I can honestly say the Two-Eyelet Boat Shoe is one of my favorite shoes I've ever owned. The first thing that caught my attention was just how beautiful the shoe is — classic, stylish, and incredibly well made. Everywhere I go, people compliment them and ask where I got them. Whether I'm walking around town or wearing them all day, they stay comfortable and look great. Vans has always been part of my life, but this shoe really stands out. It has that timeless Vans style with a classy, laid-back look that works with just about anything. I absolutely love this shoe and would recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, style, and quality all in one.

Classic look, but I love the gold details - definitely a little edgier than Sperrys. They go with everything and are so comfortable! Really looking forward to wearing them this summer and fall.
