14K Gold Small Flat Upside Down Diamond Hoop Earrings

I received these earrings as a Christmas gift last year. As I was putting them on a few weeks ago, one of them snapped where the thicker, flatter metal meets the thinner metal near the top of the hoop. I loved these earrings and received many compliments on them, but they were a complete waste of money.

I love these earrings with one exception. They're so delicate that they actually broke. You have to opent them a bit to insert them into your ear and it appears I created a "weak spot." While putting them on, they broke in two. I will return them and hopefully get a new pair. I'll just be more gentle this time.

I've been lusting after these earrings for quite a while now. Finally went into the store and purchased them a few days ago, and they are worth the wait. They are delicate, edgy, and unique. I've worn them already and love them!! One slight concern is that they do move, like they are coming out, so you have to pay attention to that to make sure you don't lose them (my reason for four vs. five stars).
