1 1/2ct Lab Grown Diamond Studs 14k Gold Earrings

The size is really good, I was going to return it for something smaller since I wanted an every day earring but I have enough everyday earrings so I'll keep these for special occasions. The post is really thin and I do worry about bending it. I'm not thrilled with the setting. I wish the martini setting was offered in yellow gold. I took a star off for the thinness of the post and a star off for the settings. Seems to sit unnaturally high. Attached are photos of this earring next to my natural diamond which is princess cut, F color, same carat weight. Also photos of the setting and in my ear to give you size perspective. I purchased these earrings as an early birthday present for my 18 year old daughter. I had read several Bliss reviews when trying to decide which earrings to purchase. Most of the reviews mentioned the poor design of the backing to keep the earrings in place. I was skeptical but was hoping these would be different. Well my daughter has had them less than 2 weeks and lost one of the earrings while out with friends. The backing must have come off and the earring is now lost. She messaged me so upset with herself and sad that she lost the earring. I had to reassure her that it wasn’t her fault and that I had my reservations regarding the backing holding up. Almost $400 down the drain because this company continues to put these earrings out knowing the quality of the backing is not good. I hope to find a way to get the earring replaced or my money back. Truly saddened by this and the emotional pain it caused my daughter. Horrible be aware!!!
