Squared 45-Piece Flatware Set

Not a fan of the ergonomics. Obviously they are flat but it's too extreme. In the mirror polish, they are difficult and uncomfortable to hold. Might make a better formal set than everyday use. The teaspoon handle is too short. The large fork handle is too wide. And the spoon shape is tear dropped, which has its positives and negative. They seem high-quality at least.

I purchased 2 sets each of ZWILLING Squared and ZWILLING Porterhouse. I am still trying to decide which pattern to keep. Both are very beautiful. The Squared is a clean, minimalistic style. The Porterhouse is more of an industrial style; though minimalistic. They both are heavyweight, but the Porterhouse shape fits better in my husband's hands over the Squared. The Squared are thicker around, but they are narrower in width and did not feel as comfortable in my husband's hands.They both feel good in my hands, being a little bit smaller. The Squared don't feel as balanced in your hand as the Porterhouse. The finish on the Squared is a little shiny and may show fingerprints; where the Porterhouse has more of a matte finish; which should minimize fingerprints. The other difference is the fork tines. The Squared tines are a little bit wider, spread apart. The Porterhouse has narrower tines; closer together. I'm not sure how either will handle when eating as I am still in the deciding stage. Overall, they both are very beautiful and elegant.
