Edge Maintenance V-Edge Sharpener

Precise sharpening angle for Zwilling western knives

Easy to use. Excellent edge on European and Asian knives. Will use frequently to keep my cutting tools sharp!

If you want sharp knives without fiddling with whetstones or worrying about holding a consistent angle on a honing steel, the Zwilling V-Edge is worth every penny. Consistent angles: The swappable angle eliminates the common mistake of rounding off an apex. Even pull: Pulling the blade straight down and back through the ceramic V-bars feels smooth and controlled. It doesn’t chew up metal like cheap carbide drag-through sharpeners. Convenient storage: All the ceramic stones and angle adapters store neatly inside the base, keeping clutter off the counter. Great for maintenance: A few light passes on the fine ceramic rods easily restore an arm-hair-shaving edge on daily chef's knives and santokus.

This was very easy to use! I appreciate the set up and angle of the device.

I couldn't decide between buying this knife sharpener for our dull Henkels knives or just buying a new set of less expensive knives that would arrive already sharpened. Because I cook a lot, having always sharp knives won out. We did the tomato test, and before sharpening, each knife failed. After sharpening, each knife sliced easily. I give the product 4 stars because it's somewhat large and can't fit in a drawer.

Excellent sharpening ability even on the dullest knives
