4-Piece Porterhouse Steak Knife Set

Nice sharp knives, but the transition from the blade to handle is abrupt. I bought two sets of these and they are sharp and non serrated so they can be sharpened. However, there is not much weight to them and they have an abrupt transition at the bottom of the blade to the handle. There should be more a of a guard here. I probably should’ve returned and went with a pro model.

We were shopping for steak knives . . . there were serrated ones on sale, but I don't like serrated ones. We lucked out (at a kitchen store) with a clerk who used to work for Zwilling. She was able to explain how the knives were made and so on, showing us this set amongst others. We liked the feel of this Porterhouse set in our hands far better than any of the others, so we purchased them and received them a few days ago. They are very sharp and cut through steak and thick pork chops smoothly. I am SO glad we did not get the harsher serrated. We can't be happier.
