Restore Soft Zip-Up Hoodie

Just delivered and really very nice fabric (!) but I'll never get to see how it looks on me since the zipper is beyond annoying. In fact, I could never get it to zip up. After many tries, once it started going up, and I thought "OK!" but then it got stuck and lopsided. I will return it. Thing is, I wear little hoodies these around the house since - well - they are EASY to take on and off as the temperature changes, i.e., don't have to pull them over my head, but just unzip instead. So I need a 21st century zipper that is flowing and easy - not something I have to struggle with and work to simply get on and off.

I love this classic hoodie but there are a few things that would have made it better; a more tailored body shape, shorter/lighter drawstrings, thumb holes, more color options. The fabric is soft and stretchy and that perfect balance of quality weight while still being breathable. I ended up cutting the drawstrings off as they are way too long, weighted with metal tips at the end, and so heavy that they just got in the way all the time. I know it’s a hoodie and they tend to have more of a relaxed look to them but i personally like having a waist and feminine shape. The boxy cut is ok but looks better if I wear a crossbody bag with it so my true shape underneath is more visible. The bottom hem/cuff is fitted more than the body so it makes that boxy body part a little more obvious and I find myself pulling the bottom down often to stretch out the fabric. I love the zipper. It is a quality material, not your basic silver, and hair does not constantly get pulled in the teeth of it. The burgundy color is gorgeous and I hope they make more in other colors. I’m pretty over black/white/tan/grey so was thrilled for the burgundy option at least. Overall it is a very comfortable and easy to wear hoodie.
