'Live In' Midi Leggings

I think we can all agree that the "live in midi leggings" are amazing because they hold you in in all the right places, the hide everything, and the fabric is thick and warm. They're super nice and they are a great price. However, when I went to the store the other day to get a pair. I could not believe how different the fabric was. It was thin and almost brushed and cotton-like. I wouldn't say that the live-in leggings are shiny per se, but the fabric did used to have an underlying sheen to it. This new fabric didn't. I decided to try it on anyway and when I did I was really shocked. They showed everything and were super unflattering. It was so weird I kept checking the tag to make sure I had grabbed the right one. The tag said Zella slim fit midi live in legging reversible it was definitely the one I buy. So went back to check the rack and all the leggings in my size were the same fabric. So I ran downstairs where I knew they had another display and found one pair left in the old thick fabric and I tried it on and it was like night and day. Again, I kept looking at the tags and they were exactly the same, just wildly different fabric. Nordstrom, I don't know what's up, but hopefully you go back to the way you were making them before.

I was so excited to try these leggings after reading all of the positive reviews! Unfortunately, they haven't lived up to the hype. While the material is very nice and flattering on, they just refuse to stay up. I tried them in both black and navy and had the same problem with both colors. I may try a size smaller to see if that fixes the problem, but they will most likely be going back. I just can't deal with constantly pulling up my pants while working out or running errands! For size reference, I am 5'5", 130 lbs and ordered a small.

This was my first Zella purchase and these are fantastic. They prompted me to buy more from this brand. I'm 5'4 and about 125 lbs. I bought the xs because I'm normally about a size 2-4. I probably could have sized up, but the stretch allowed the xs to fit well. The length was also just what I was looking for. My biggest disappointment was that, when I came back to order more in the black, they are now back ordered until October!! Nordstrom, please stock more soon.

I have a pair of live-in leggings that I absolutely love- the fabric is thick enough that it covers cellulite and underwear. Zella changed the fabric, and the new fabric shows off everything. Bring back the old fabric!

Ordered these for the winter time, they came highly recommended. I've work them only a few times and noticed that they already have a hole in them! Not impressed at all ☹️

Everyone seems to love these, so I guess it's just me that finds the material too thick and claustrophobic? I'm a huge fan of the "Keep It Cool" capris and was hoping for something like a longer version of those. I can't imagine working out in these – or even taking a brisk walk. Sizing was fine: I'm 5'2" 115 lbs and tried both size small and size medium. The small was the right size, but I just wanted to take these leg prisons off as quickly as possible!
