Impress High Waist Pants

I would not size down in these- Go with your regular size. I really wanted to love them, but I will probably end up returning them. I purchased the Grey Kitten color and maybe Black would have been a better option. The material is very thin and the pants are not lined. It is not see through; however, it does not leave a "smooth" appearance. In other word, the back pockets need to be push down to lie flat... so there is the possibility of underwear lines. This is probably a good option for travel, especially where you would want to maintain a professional appearance. Not really the type of pants to wear to the grocery store. I'm not so sure I like them with tennis shoes, but maybe I'm old school. Bottom line is that they look better on-line than in person to me. I will give them another try tomorrow and then decide whether or not to do a return.

Absolutely cheap ,thin polyester pants. Feels scratchy on. Returned even though I got them on sale. We are being brain washed to belive that polyester is wonderful.

If you have imperfections, the light color is doing to show them. They are also a long inseam for me at 5'6". I think if I kept them, I'd let Nordstrom tailor them, although I heard from a sales associate you now get tailoring credit back as a note? If that's true, that's a downgrade. I think I might return and hope a black gets returned in my size.

I read reviews with ladies reporting the material as thin and cheap and I disagree, I find this to be a typical fabric for pants sold as travel friendly. They’re very lightweight and drapery, and should wash up and dry quickly without wrinkling. Great for air travel and cruises to warmer climates. I planned to use them for travel and wear with a merino wool tee. I’m not keeping these because they run very large. I’m 5’6” 135 lbs, 36x29x40” (typically a size 8), I got a size medium and these were very large in the waist, I’d need to get them taken in to wear them so I’ll be returning.

these are great for tall girls, but they run slightly big through the hip. hopefully they will get restocked and i can try the XS!

I’ve now ordered 3 pairs of these Zella pants to try to find the perfect fit. I’m a size 6/8 and the medium fits me a bit large while the small fits better but a little bit snug in the waist. All 3 pairs that I tried the slide hook closure at the top of the zipper wasn’t completely tacked down so as soon as I slid the hook in it came completely loose. It’s definitely a quality assurance issue. Instead of tacking it down it was loosely sewn on and the threads not knotted to keep it secure. So beware if purchasing these pants that the closure will need to be re-sewn. The material on these is perfect for warmer weather as they are very lightweight and stretchy. The Grey moonbeam color is slightly transparent so neutral undergarments are essential. These pants are nice enough to wear for business casual. They do run on the longer side. I’m 5’8” and the mediums I can wear with 2-3” heels. I purchased these for an extended trip to Europe in late spring. They’ll pack easily, don’t wrinkle and can easily be hand washed and hung dry. I also purchased the matching black bomber jacket. I removed one star due to the slide hook closure coming off.
