very versatile shorts
I got these shorts in black and I love these shorts so much I got multiples. They have a 4 inch inseam, so these will be my go-to for vacations where I can transition from hiking the trails to exploring the city seamlessly! Did I mention I REALLTY appreciate the longer inseam? :-) They are also unlined, which I like. The material is light and stretchy, and the fact they have pockets are fantastic (i wish at least one had a zipper just for more security). Zella makes such good quality items, and for me, they are comparable and fit me better than my lulu shorts-- so I go for the Zella shorts often. I wear between a Large and XL and both sizes work on me, depending if I want a more fitted look, or a looser fit.

Cute shorts
The shorts are very soft and stylish. I am usually size 4 in Lululemon shorts and the XS size is still a little big on me - that's the reason for four stars instead of 5.

best summer shorts!!
I’m obsessed with these shorts! I’m 5’6” and 132 lbs with a pretty big butt and the small fit perfect! I have gotten so many compliments on them. If you are considering buying them, do it!

Pretty flattering high-waste shorts
For reference I am 5'8" 130lbs, I got size S, could have gone down to XS, but I don't mind the baggy/oversized look. They are pretty flattering casual shorts, no net on the inside, but that's fine for me.

Cute but big
I absolutely adore other zella shorts that I've gotten from Nordstrom so I jumped on the fun green blaze color. Unfortunately they are too large - I'm 5'7" 128 pounds and the small was much too large for me. Quality seems good and they are definitely a nice feel for a hot summer workout. They are a bit longer than other zella shorts.
