Volupté Tint-in-Oil

This will be my new favorite lip product..(until the next one comes along!)...it is not a gloss or dark stain but a rich blend of oils that leave my lips soft with a beautiful shine....it does have somewhat of a peach flavor but I don't find it ill tasting as I have in some flavored lip products before...I purchased I Roses You and it really has little to no color...I use it alone for a sheer shine or with other lip products for more added depth...mine is not glittery or sparkly which is a message I'd like for all companies who market to any woman over the age of 30 to take notice of....I am often surprised at high end products that come with such results...I have already purchased this in a second color of Peach Me in Love and am looking forward to its arrival...I am hoping that it has a little more pigment than my current one but it is nice to have those "goof proof" products to reach for without needing a 10X mirror for precise application....I would not hesitate to buy...

I hate lipstick but when I saw the word Oil in the name, decided to try it. I'm 62 and I wear it everyday. It makes my lips so soft and gives them just enough color. I even ordered a second one. That is a first ever for me.

I purchased Drive me Copper. This product is definitely a lip tint. not a lot of color. My lips feel conditioned and soft. The description is very accurate, non-sticky. I hate sticky lip tints/glosses. I was very skeptical after experiencing so many disappointments in the past. I have kept this Tint-in-Oil and really use it. I have brown eyes, light skin, and brownish/red hair. This color is attractive.

I bought this gloss at the recommendation of a friend on my way out of town for a week of vacay in hot and humid weather. I was excited to test the performance and to see whether or not Volupte really does hydrate as it claims. I love the applicator - it is soft and nicely curved. And I really love the gloss. It is more of an oil, which seems counter-intuitive to most skin-related products. However, the oil acts more like a tint leaving a nice not-too-sticky glossy shine. I would note that the product is not as long-wearing as I would hope. The color stays but the glossy shine does not last past a few hours. I reapply several times a day as I am drinking water all day long. Being someone who is phobic of strong dark lips, I also appreciate that the colors are soft and subtle. I have been wearing color Oh My Gold. I also purchased Undress Me but it hardly showed on my pale lips and I liked that Oh My Gold had a very soft warm pink glow. This is my favorite new product for goddess summer lips!

I'm more of a stain girl than lipstick girl. I don't really like transferring lipstick to things (cups, water bottles, etc.). I also don't want to reapply often. I don't often remember to check the mirror, so long lasting is important to me. Stains are drying. This Tint-in-Oil does a great job moisturizing the lips. I have Peach Me In Love and it looks a bit pink over time. I was surprised by how nice it looked. I only use one layer. The shine fades, and the stain remains all day. I would even describe it as tough to take off. If I reapply later in the day, then I have "too much" on and I don't like the way it looks. So I just use lip balm since, of course, the moisture doesn't last the way the stain does.

This product is the most moisturizing gloss-like product I have ever tried. I would not say it is as moisturizing as a good balm, though. I also gave it a 4 vs 5 for the amount of tint. I got Undress Me which is light, but honestly doesn't show much color at all. I am using it frequently, but would have liked a bit more color. Highly recommend!
