What it is: The most volumizing mascara by Yves Saint Laurent, The Shock coats each lash with maximum volume in just one stroke—without clumping.
What it does: An hourglass-shaped brush allows more of The Shock's exclusive formula to grab hold of your lashes. With brilliant, high-intense color, this long-wear mascara will give you a dramatic base that won't smudge.
How to use: Start applying at the root of your lash on the outside of the eye. Touch the brush to the lash, pushing upward and outward at the same time. The formula is buildable, so you can pump up the volume by adding stroke on top of stroke.

Dramatic Lashes
My new favorite mascara! I’ve long been a fan of YSL’s Volume Effect Faux Cils’ mascara, but after trying The Shock, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to Volume Effect again. If dramatic lashes with ultra volume and definition is what you are after, The Shock is the mascara for you.

My niece suggested I use this color mascara to make my eyes "pop". I don't normally spend this much on makeup, but thought I would give it a try. Perhaps I received a faulty tube, but so much mascara came out on the wand that it was impossible to wipe enough on to even start to apply it! I tried over and over to get a usable amount on the wand, but to no avail, so I sent it back. One thing I do love....Nordstrom's no questions asked return policy.

The BEST mascara, but...
I love this mascara. It is hands down the best one I have ever tried. BUT, the tube dries out SO FAST. And I have used 4-5 tubes of this mascara. It is a trend. It lasts well for maybe 1 month before it starts drying out. I have never had this problem so significantly with any other mascara. It makes the spend of $30 seem insane when you can’t use it for very long

Im actually shocked at how amazing this is!
Miracle! I recently wrote a 5star review for Dior Lash Addict because it was in a class to itself until now. I can't believe this is better; and how much better it is! This is the mascara of my dreams. This does and behaves exactly how you would expect the perfect mascara to work. A small amount glides on (with a light touch) without clumps and instantly, in one quick coat, give you perfect lashes...separated, thicker, longer.
