Perfect Beige
I love YSL lipsticks. This color is the most beautiful Beige I have bought in a long time. It looks great on and feels great too. It does last without drying out the lips. Packaging is also gorgeous. This is a must have!!

So.over-rated!
I don't understand the high ratings for this lipstick. Having tried just about every brand of lipstick over the past 30 years, this is one of the worst. Yes, it smells great and the color is amazing when it's first applied but it literally evaporates after an hour and if eating or drinking - forget it. Truly a mystery given how substantial its weight when first applied. I'll finish the tube by combining it with another lipstick but won't bother wearing it alone.

FINALLY the perfect nude
I've been on the hunt, for probably a couple of years, for a great shade of lipstick - one that isn't too red, isn't too purple/pale, but isn't too bright pink either. The beige shade is perfect! & the texture feels like butter. YSL has yet again proven to be my favorite.

The best red
No. 1 is hands down the best true red ever. Moisturizing, doesn't run, and lasts a long time. No. 39 can be a bit drying so put on Chapstick before. 39 is a beautiful purple. Love the two that I've purchased so far.

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Excellent
* I tried the LeRouge No. 1, Rose Stiletto No.9 and Beige Tribute No.10.
Le Rouge is a pretty neutral red that leans toward blue red on me; Rose Stiletto is my favorite - a berry pink with enough color that it is my substitute for red but soft, not garish; Beige tribute is almost exactly the color of my naked lips so it does nothing for me. ( I have dark brown hair, fair-med skin with yellow undertones, hazel gray-green eyes)
** The satin finish is Smooth and Moisturizing. Coverage is Light, but not too sheer. I think that because my lips feel naked but smooth and moisturized, I don't lick my lipstick off.
*** The case feels too boxy for me, I don't feel confident that it won't get all scratched up if I leave it in my purse unprotected. However, the Case Works Well as a Mirror if you are unexpectedly without one.
