Le Curler Lengthening & Curling Mascara

I have tried so many different mascaras, and I have finally found the perfect one! I have very straight lashes and with YSL Le Curler Mascara, for the first time ever, I no longer need a lash curler. This mascara applies very easily, leaving my lashes looking super long, dark and separated. Until now, I have never had a mascara that makes my bottom lashes visible to the naked eye. It does not clump or flake and comes off easily with eye make-up remover. I am hooked on this mascara!

I purchased this mascara based upon the recommendation of my wedding Makeup Artist whom also moonlight in the Cosmetics dept a few days a week. I love the formula of this mascara. It lasts all day without flaking and it doesn’t clump lashes together. I do find the wand to be challenging, especially on my lower lasher, and I don’t notice any advanced curling effect from the wand. I don’t think I will purchase this exact mascara again but I would most certainly purchase Yves Saint Laurent again for the formula.

This is the best mascara out there and I’ve tried them all. My second favorite is Thrive (which I’ll use if I’m in a two-min outthedoor hurry). But this really does the best job if you know how to properly apply it. It both lengthens and adds volume, making my eyes really pop. EVERYONE asks me what mascara I’m wearing when I use this. Seriously, I’m stopped everywhere; at the grocery store, while shopping, all of my girlfriends, every checkout-register girl…even the two women who admitted me to the hospital for my last endoscopy called me back while giggling to ask me what mascara I was wearing. Buy this, play with it because it does take practice…but in this case practice really does make perfect. Make sure you do not overload the brush (in the beginning you will have to scrape the sides while removing from the tube), apply lightly in gentle zig-zags then again (WITHOUT double dipping!) straight up. Work fast as this product dries fast. If you want curl, work from the root and hold it up the way you would if you were adding volume to your hair while blowdrying. Wand is crescent moon shaped. First pass is done with inside of arch touching lashes. Flip the wand for the second pass so that the outside of the arch is touching the lashes. This is the best. And the bonus is it’s beautiful to carry anywhere. I find the packaging of others (e.g. tacky green plastic containers with loud prints) a huge no thank you. Buy this and fall in love after a little practice! It’s the best!!
