Details & care

What it is: A metallic-color liquid eyeshadow with a pigment-packed formula that lasts up to 16 hours without creasing, flaking or fading.

What it does: Its formula contains 40% water for a cooling effect and pure color payoff. An exclusive applicator allows you to create three signature looks, including a full lid, just the line or a graphic eye.

How to use: Use the flat, large surface of the applicator for a full metal cover of the whole eyelid. For a more graphic look and if using as an eyeliner, follow the lashline using the pointed tip or the side of the applicator before lightly drawing upward for an elongated look.

Easy to apply; lovely to wear

I bought four colors--1 to highlight, 3 to color--and they are beautiful. The color lasts all day and I have nothing drifting below the eye to make what is already a dark area, darker. The applicator works; so do fingers, so no brushes are needed and that cuts down on travel supplies.

Terrible

I'm so disappointed in this eyeshadow. I only wear YSL mascara and I love it so I thought I'd give the eyeshadow a try. I buy another brand of eyeshadow from Nordstrom that I'm pretty happy with so I have experience with this kind of eyeshadow. This was a mess. It has a strangely shaped applicator...kind of bent. And it doesn't stay on. First it wiped off my eyeshadow base. I cleaned the brush, cleaned the eye area so I could apply it on bare skin. It still keeps rubbing itself off. Put a little on and you can't see it so you try to put a little more on and now you are back to bare eyes...put some on, nothing. I let my daughter try because I just hate to return anything and since it is impossible to put on I figured it wouldn't be too heavy for a 14 year old who doesn't wear makeup. I bought it in a white color. It didn't work any better for her. You could barely see it but the whole day glitter kept falling onto her face from her eyes. Very disappointed.

Does not last

I read the reviews for this shadow and thought it sounded good. I loved the metallic colors. This shadow did not work for me. I tried it applied to a bare eyelid, then I used a base. In a few hours it had disappeared, either way. Perhaps it has to be applied very thick to last? Also, there is not very much product in the container, especially for the purchase price.

Comfortable, buildable color

I just received this today, and after trying it, I know that it will be my new "go-to" especially for the summer. The color goes on sheer, but you can build more depth. It's slightly metallic, but in a subtle way. I bought the aquatic copper, and I like it so much that i just ordered three more colors!

Nice

this is a very nice neutral I base in the velvet beige color. I did order the sable color and returned it because it was a little too iridescent sparkly for me. I did find it wore well throughout the day and did not crease.

Pop Water Metallic Eyeshadow
