Absolutely not 20 oz, 17oz with the lid on.
I wanted a 30 oz stackable like my others but it seems they've quit making those in seasonal colors. I thought I'd go ahead and try the 20oz because the color was cute. When it arrived it just looked so shockingly small. I filled it with water at my fridge which counts ounces as it fills and this 20 oz cup only holds 17 ozs if you want the lid on it. I double checked by pouring it into measuring cup and 17 oz was accurate. The only way this thing is ever going to hold 20 oz of liquid is without the lid and filled so full its almost running over. I'm not sure how they're allowed to advertise the product this way...why not just call this a 16 oz cup at this point? Now I'm questioning my other cups from here and what they actually hold.

Previously, the capacity was measured to the bottom of the lid. The new capacity is measured to the brim of the vessel with no lid on. This measuring capacity is being standardized across all drinkware with MagSlider™ and Straw lids.

Drink hole lid too big for hot liquids!
I bought this as my driving cup for hot coffee but whilst the cup size is great the hole where the liquid comes out is way too big meaning every time you go to take a sip, you end up burning your lips as the liquid comes out out too fast and too much. I am surprised actually no one has noticed this. Its actually really dangerous.

Great mug, issues with paint
I've had two of the 20Oz ramblers with the Mag slider lids. Over all, I like the mug and its performance, but I've had the mugs for about a year and the paint is flaking off.

Not Spill-Proof as Expected
I bought two YETI 20 oz Stackable Cups for my wife and me, expecting the quality YETI is known for. Unfortunately, the lid does not prevent liquids from spilling, which was a major disappointment.
I also own a YETI backpack that has a designated pocket for a cup or bottle. I placed the stackable cup there, assuming it would be safe for everyday use. Instead, my coffee spilled all over the inside of the bag, making a mess and soaking the backpack. This is especially frustrating since this is the bag I use to carry my laptop and other equipment.
The cup itself feels well-made, but the lid design makes it unsuitable for carrying liquids in a bag. For a premium-priced product, I expected better spill protection especially when used with other YETI gear.

Thank you for providing us with your feedback. The MagSlider Lid is not leak-proof but is splash resistant. This lid is designed to release pressure while closed and therefore cannot be leak-proof. Please view the video on the MagSlider product page for more information. Our Rambler bottles, with their threaded interface, are our leak-proof options.
