DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I love smith and It’s exactly why I’m taking the time to write my first review ever because these things are that bad. I was SO excited to get these, was on the pre order list for months and got them as soon as they became available. And since then, they have been nothing but terrible honestly for a lens that’s supposed to be meant for physical activity. Horrible they never stay in the frame as they properly should and now any time I flip them up or down the whole lenses pops out. The concept and design is awesome but whoever let this leave the cool idea board is a silly little goose. Once again I like Smith they make good products but definitely pooped the bed with this one.

Perfect fit
I was hesitant to make this purchase because I didn't think the glasses would fit my face, especially for cycling and outdoor activities, but they are perfect.

Be careful at higher speeds
I ride XC mtb bike year-round and sometimes run into issues in cold weather with fogging, so I got these to be able to flip up and let them breath when needed. I was on a ride when I went to flip them up during a descent and the lenses caught wind and went buh-bye! SMITH did not offer a warranty for the lost lenses, nor do they offer a lens replacement (at the time when I inquired). Heads up, the lenses can come undone if you are using them in an active, higher speed sport. I should mention, I was only doing around 20-25 mph when this issue occurred.

So much missed potential!!
I've been looking for performance sunglasses to wear in lower-light situations. I run and ski a lot after sundown, and usually rely on a headlamp, but needed something without a dark tint to protect my eyes from snow, wind and dust etc. With the yellow Chromapop option and flip-up lens, these seemed perfect until I received them.
Heavy construction with stiff glossy plastic throughout, no grip at the temples and enough weight that they slip forward as you run or ski. Matte nylon construction would've been WAY more appropriate, lighter-weight, and more comfortable by a long shot. Probably even cheaper to manufacture. These feature no adjustability anywhere; poor fit around the ears/on the temples (these run narrow/will squeeze larger heads) without even rubber grip/comfort pads or anything along the arms. Poor nose piece fit, with no adjustability there either. Brow piece seems unnecessarily large and pushes the lens/nosepiece out from the face if you lift or lower your eyebrows. All in all, the only thing I liked about these is the lens (Chromapop yellow) and how it flips up when you want it to; everything else about these sunglasses is awful. They feel like your dad's safety glasses he kept in the wood shop since 1988. I get the retro intentions, I get that these are sort of form-over-function, but they feel like such junk when you put them on. Better off buying yellow-lens shades from Amazon or in a gas station, I'm not kidding.
All the more disappointing because I wanted to love these so badly — they look awesome, and Smith has never disappointed me like this in my 15 years of wearing Smith sunglasses and goggles. Truly a huge bummer, and if they ever fix the XC, I'll buy the updated pair... NOT the current iteration. One star for product quality, and one extra star for trying to make something that I would really, really love if it was done correctly.

Cool featured glasses, painful at the bridge/nose area
Wish the nose/bridge support was a little more forgiving. The rubber portion doesn't really support the glasses on my nose, just the rigid plastic part. This makes them uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time, so I'm unfortunately returning the pair I bought.
