What it is: In collaboration with Sofia Coppola, Augustinus Bader created this beloved Lip Balm in three universal sheer, yet buildable colors.

What it does: Experience a tinted lip balm that nourishes, plumps and renews for softer, smoother, healthier-looking lips. The lip balm enhances your lips with a sheer wash of color that builds with each application. It nourishes to replenish and soften dehydrated lips with natural plumping agents that lock in moisture so lips appear plumper, smoother and more supple. A blend of plant-based butters and oils moisturize the skin and protect from environmental stressors. Shade 1 is based on a sheer, deep-pink lipstick Sofia hoarded after it was discontinued. Shade 2 is a red coral that's perfect for summer or the beach, and shade 3 is a burnt, earthy plum.

Worth the hype
Bought all three shades and love all, but #2 strawberry is my fave. The texture, consistency, and sheer wash are great for summer. Disagree with the comment that they’re not buildable color. Can definitely change up the transparency with each layer and the distinctiveness of each shade is amazing. Would recommend and plan to get the original untinted version.

Love this balm!
Pretty much instantly smoothed my dry lips and the color is buildable. One pass gives you a nice flush of color, a few passes gives nice, full coverage. A little on the lips and cheeks gives a quick, more polished look in seconds. Ended up buying all 3 colors.

Nice but needs more moisture
I like how the tint gives enough color unlike some tinted lip balms. It is hydrating, but not enough for my dry lips. I still have to put an ointment for added moisture.
