The Waterbury fly-back chronograph takes flight in a new pilot's style in a jet-setting design that features an homage to Pan Am.The Fly Back Waterbury lets you instantly reset the chronograph to display the current time in the current lap with a single press of the fly back pusher. This watch makes maximum use of its fan-shaped subdials, with the upper subdial doubling as a second time zone indicator.

Measurements: 43mm case; 12mm case depth; 22mm band width.

Strap/closure: Leather strap with adjustable buckle closure.

Movement: Three-hand quartz movement. Quartz movement: powered by a battery and features an internal electrical circuit to control the rate of the watch's ticking.

Complications: Date window; elapsed-seconds, -minutes and -hours subdials; second time-zone indicator.

Other features: Water resistant to 10 ATM (100 meters); bidirectional rotating slide rule bezel; Pan Am–logo dial; Super-LumiNova® hands and markers.

Face: Mineral crystal face.

Solid watch with great looks
Solid watch with great looks and functionality. Case is well-finished and solid stainless steel. The movement is unique to Timex and strikes the balance between quartz and mechanical. The running white second hands ticks once a second, while the orange "airplane" hand sweeps like a mechanical watch's hand when the top chronograph pusher is activated. L Lots of features, including a date window, the flyback chronograph, a legible 10 minute counter, and 4 hour counter, a tachymeter scale, a 24 hr GMT when the chronograph isn't running, and a slide rule bezel. The dial is top notch with the sunburst blue and the Pan Am logo. I only found out about the watch while perusing Timex's website. It's barely publicized elsewhere besides a couple of articles on a blog and media site. So it's basically a hidden gem at the moment. I've been looking for a good inexpensive chronograph for a long time, and I think I finally found THE one.

Very sharp watch out of
Very sharp watch out of the box. For the price it looks fantastic. However, the second hand fell off and was floating inside the case after one week and only being worn for about 10 minutes.

It is an extremely good
It is an extremely good looking aviator watch with a circular slide rule for computing ground speed as an additional plus. I miss the days of flying that Pan Am represents and this watch brings of little of that joy back.

Better than I expected. The workmanship and quality is similar to my Bulova.
