x Monse Authentic Original^™ 2-Eye Jelly Boat Shoe (Women)

These are so cute that I regret returning them, but they are just not comfortable, despite the fact that the laces allow you to adjust the width and fit. They squelch like galoshes and squeak when you walk, which my Melissa jellies don’t do. They’re better with thin socks, but those kind of defeat the purpose of jellies for the rain. Too bad! Have I mentioned how cute they are?? True to size, too!

Honestly I was so excited about this shoe, I’m usually 7.5 or 8 but since these only come in full sizes I got the 8, too big (almost a full size) even with the cool socks that come with it, I was planing to use them without the socks to let them see through, but there is no way that they will stay on my foot without slipping off the heel. It’s almost like the sole is too heavy and the structure of the shoe too flimsy to hold the weight of the shoe. Such a shame because I really like them, they even came with a clear color plastic reusable bag, but I had to return them. I would say if you are in between sizes, better to size down.
