Runs so small

These run very small. I normally wear a 30 and ordered a 30 and I couldn't even get these over my hips. I bought a pair of jeans in a 29 to try since the 30 was sold out and those fit perfectly! I am not sure why these are cut so narrow but if you have hips, these are not going to fit properly and you will need to size up a few sizes. These are so cute and it's a shame they are made so small.

Good luck to anyone with hips

I purchased these from Free People and I am in the process of returning. The design is adorable and I wanted to love them, but the jeans are so soft & flexible; they are an awful jegging material that wouldn't hold up in the daintiest hand wash. The sizing is also not good. I bought a 4, I'm kind of in the middle of a 2 and a 4, and I couldn't even ZIP the jeans up.
