Fragrance story: To accompany the lyrics and music about living life in the slow lane, Kacey Musgraves and Boy Smells partnered on a scented candle that perfectly captures the smells and visual vibrancy that one hears in the song. The candle features a coconut and beeswax blend.

Like the Song
Sounds crazy, but I think if you like the song this candle is named after, you’re gonna like this scent. It gives off exactly the same atmosphere. Since that’s probably completely unhelpful, I’ll try and describe it but it’s a tough one to nail down. Think more holy/church incense instead of hippie incense. I do smell the berry and vanilla notes and would say it’s a sweet, smoky scent, but it’s not cloying in any way. There’s definitely some dry, golden hour desert vibes, like a warm summer evening.

Really? Super Disappointed
I just bought Slow Burn with Cameo. Great scent but the candle doesn't have a good throw until 2nd or 3rd use. I can excuse that but what I can't is the excessive amount of tunneling with these candles. At this price point, tunneling shouldn't even be a problem. Generic candles you get a WalMart and Target tunnel less and I'm not exaggerating. Truly disappointing.

Off-center Wick
Wasn’t a huge fan of this scent. It’s kind of incense-y mixed with rose and just too floral musky for my taste. Also the wick is off centered and for $40 I expect my candles to burn evenly.

Wick Placement Issues
Absolutely beautiful scent, however, for a luxury candle price you would hope they place the wick directly in the center of the candle. I attempted to burn the entire top layer to ensure it burns evenly through the candles life, however, the wick is certainly placed to the side. After burning for 10 hours on the first day, I ended up with this, wasted product on one side and a burnt candle glass on the side the wick is closest to. Hugely disappointed! Beautiful luxury scent, just wish the candle worked better.

Ooh baby this is good
Probably my favorite candle at the moment. If you love spicy darker scents, you’ll love this. The jar is a beautiful color too, so really this candle is just an all around winner.
