What it does: You can control your Pura device remotely from anywhere at any time. As the Pura holds two fragrances at once, you can swap out what scent you want to fill the room. The device only runs when you want it to, and you can choose a 1–10 level intensity for a weaker/stronger scent. It also doubles as an ambient nightlight when plugged in. The scent, Volcano, is the perfect blend of citrus and sugar notes. Like the excitement and energy of a summer night rendezvous, this fragrance is simply unforgettable.

Awesome little gadget!
I got this thing with high hopes and it didn’t disappoint! I have a smallish living room and it is more than capable of filling it with a pleasing scent. But the best feature has to be in app where it will stop when you leave the house and resume when you come back. It’s great to come home to your fave volcano candle smell! And the app is very straight forward. For large spaces I’d recommend two.

Worst thing I’ve ever purchased
I have never written one review but this product is so bad it deserves a negative 5 star. First, you set a schedule and sometimes it follows the schedule, sometimes it just turns off for no reason. Set the light for ambient lighting when it gets dark, sometimes it comes on, sometimes it just shuts off and sometimes it just never comes on. Switched the scent over to the second scent, was on for a day or so and then it just either shuts off or it switches back to the first scent. I only set it to the half way mark for the volume of scent and it still only lasted maybe a week and you could only smell it if you were standing right next to it. You can get way more scent out of a candle and it’s much cheaper. I could have thrown a $100 bill in the garbage and got the same satisfaction as I did with this gadget. The concept is good if it only worked and wasn’t so pricey to use.

Embarrassed for purchasing
As a longtime fan of Capri Blue’s Volcano scent, upon finding this product hopes were high that I could have my favorite scent fill the house once more. I have not purchased the candles in a while due to the massive amount of leftover wax always(!!!) remaining in the vessels. The pros: The features of the Pura are fun. The light color-changing feature is cute. *I didn’t know it was a feature when I bought it.
The *ability to adjust scent strength is nice, but I think the $12 units perform the same function
App access is fine I guess if you want the ability to control a fragrance plug-in from your phone.
Cons: CONNECTING and MAINTAINING and internet connection is frustrating. Yes, all caps. The connection drops constantly. The unit is located under the wifi router. I have tried 5G and 2G. For the 5 minutes it connected, the product was nice and scent was noticeable.
I regret purchasing the item. It is embarrassing that I paid $75+ for what amounts to a complicated Gatsby Glade plugin with Gremlin requirements.

Not exactly what I hoped for…
I’ll start with what I love about the Pura. The design is nice and the device isn’t too bulky. The nightlight is hands down my favorite feature. All the scents I’ve tried so far smell really good! This is where my love of the Pura ends. I have tons of issues with my device going offline (and it’s mere feet away from our wifi). I set each scent to 3 or 4…I’m lucky if I get 7 days of scent out of each vial. The “away” feature to conserve the vial has never worked. If I set the scents on a timer to turn off at night while we sleep, it also turns off the nightlight…and there’s currently no way around it. Overall, just not as wonderful as I hoped it would be.

Fantastic
I have purchased 8 of these and can not say enough about them! If used correctly with the Pura app, they are a fabulous addition to any home. As a comment to a reviewer who stated they were missing scent cartridges- I thought I was missing some too when I first ordered a set of 2- and immediately emailed the company that they were missing- and they promptly replied that they would send them- however, I sheepishly realized I had jumped the gun- as the cartridges WERE in the box- just in a weird place. I do not get the negative reviews- they are not a necessity and sort of a fun and frivolous home accent. The scent choices are phenomenal. The devices work wonderfully. You can not go wrong!!

I bought 2 and want them in every room of my home! The app works great. Volcano is one of my favorite scents.
