Woven Faux Leather Backpack

So, I actually purchased this directly from Desigual because they were having a sale. I saw it here and wished there was a review about it because the description was lacking. So, I took a chance on the discounted bag through Desigual and decided to come back here to write one. First of all, it's really well made and surprisingly roomy. Also, what is hard to see from the pics is that there is an internal zippered pocket but also the entire bag zips closed as well. There's a zipper set down into the opening...so you don't have to worry about it being open unless you decide not to zip it. I love that you can wear it as a backpack or over the shoulder and you can adjust the straps if needed (I didn't need to). None of the straps are detachable, though. So, even if you wear it over the shoulder you'll have backpack straps hanging. I don't think it looks bad but it definitely doesn't look all neat and tidy like the pic. The construction is solid...even with the faux leather. I have another bag by Desigual that is a go-to for me that I did buy from Nordstrom and I don't usually have high expectation for the durability of faux leather, but it seems to have staying power. I think the retail price is a bit steep for what the bag is...but if it goes on sale and you are into the design, I would definitely grab it. Now that I've seen it in person, I would purchase it again knowing what I know.
