A meticulously handcrafted wool rug featuring small, imperfect square shapes that gradually reveal their beauty over time. Each square is sewn in two directions—first one way, then the other—creating a unique texture where the thread and fabric blend seamlessly, guided by the artisan's hand. Designed with a rich Brown and Natural canvas base, accented with subtle Moss and Basil hues, this piece brings a touch of natural elegance to any space. Part of the Unexpected Collection, it’s available in six sizes and six colors, offering versatile options to complement any interior. Thanks to our WOOLABLE® patent, this rug is machine washable, lightweight, and softer than traditional tufted wool rugs.Each washable wool rug comes packed in a cotton tote bag that can be used for storage and includes a complimentary anti-slip underlay to fit under the rug and keep it in place. Wool rugs may shed fibers when new or during use. This is a natural characteristic of the wool fiber. Lay the rug flat for 2-3 days after unpacking. Afterward, gently brush or vacuum to restore the pile.

- Solidarity: Our rugs stand for solidarity. Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.

This item has a different return policy. Items sold and shipped by Lorena Canals can be returned by mail or to a Nordstrom store within 90 days of when the item shipped and must be in new condition, with tags attached. We can’t accept returns for this item at Nordstrom Rack.
