Wool Runner Rug

Details & care

A meticulously handcrafted wool rug featuring small, imperfect square shapes that gradually reveal their beauty over time. Each square is sewn in two directions—first one way, then the other—creating a unique texture where the thread and fabric blend seamlessly, guided by the artisan's hand. Designed with a rich Brown and Natural canvas base, accented with subtle Sheep Beige and Sand Stone hues, this piece brings a touch of natural elegance to any space. Part of the Unexpected Collection, it’s available in six sizes and six colors, offering versatile options to complement any interior. Thanks to our WOOLABLE® patent, this rug is machine washable, lightweight, and softer than traditional tufted wool rugs. Each washable wool rug comes packed in a cotton tote bag that can be used for storage and includes a complimentary anti-slip underlay to fit under the rug and keep it in place. Wool rugs may shed fibers when new or during use. This is a natural characteristic of the wool fiber. Lay the rug flat for 2-3 days after unpacking. Afterward, gently brush or vacuum to restore the pile. Size: 2' 7" x 7' 6"

• This is a unique artisan piece, carefully designed by Lorena Canals and sustainably handcrafted in our own factory using natural fibers and upcycled materials, non-toxic dyes, and a firm commitment to the planet and people. From the design process, to material sourcing and production, we always choose options that minimize waste and ensure long-lasting designs.
• RWS: Product made with RWS-certified wool. The RWS is a voluntary global standard that addresses the welfare of sheep and of the land they graze on.
• Washable: This product is machine washable at home, keeping it flawless wash after wash. Making life easier!
• Handcrafted: If you own one of our signature home rugs, you know it is a one-of-a-kind piece. Because it is handcrafted by Indian artisans and not the result of mass production. Each Lorena Canals product is carefully handcrafted by our artisans in our own factory in India using ancestral craft techniques. The result is a piece of art with slight variations inherent in artisanal work. Finding beauty in imperfection.
• Woolable (R) patent: After the success of our washable cotton rugs, we wanted to go a step further and make our wool rugs washable too. Stylish, with incredible textures and innovative designs, our patent-registered WOOLABLE® range has shaken up the rug industry and made us first in the World to offer washable wool rugs.
• Solidarity: Our rugs stand for solidarity. Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.
• Lightweight: All of our washable rugs have a lightweight and flexible design that makes them easily machine washable without sacrificing quality. You can move them from one room to another, making them a practical choice for any home!
• Long-lasting: We're all about the slow decor. We are committed to manufacturing products with high-quality natural fibers to ensure maximum durability. A piece made with natural fibers can last a lifetime, while one made with synthetic fibers needs to be replaced frequently. Our products will grow with kids and families at home.
