Wool & Cashmere Ruana

I bought this for a fall big-city vacation where it wasn’t quite cold enough to wear a coat. I was able to throw this on over sweaters and blazers for an added layer of warmth in the evenings. It is very soft, not itchy, and not too heavy so it drapes nicely. Very well made and sophisticated looking - pairs well with boots/booties and a turtleneck. Didn’t take up much room in the suitcase - this will be a fall travel staple for me for many years to come.

Im on a significant weight loss journey and I wanted an option that I could wear for awhile, wasn’t bulky for commuting, and I wanted it to look and feel nice. I purchased this on sale and was excited to try it. I have not worn it much. It’s basically a blanket. I was expecting some stitching to loosely create a sleeve like my Nordstrom branded ruana. Perhaps one or both are mislabeled- ruana/poncho? The fabric is soft but it just slides around like crazy. I don’t think it was worth the sale price and def not full price.
