Wool & Cashmere Blend Coat

The fabric felt nice and I liked the style. However, the sleeves were short on me. At the price point I didn't want to deal with it. The coat was also fairly long, it hit in the middle in my calves so this coat would be best for someone who is around 5"9 or taller with average to short arms. I also wish the bottom part of the coat that hangs had a little more structure/weight since it looked slightly wrinkled. I'm sure it would have improved to some degree with a steamer but I didn't want to fiddle with it since I knew I was returning it. It was a fairly nice coat but I will hold out for longer sleeves.

This is a very nice coat with a pleasing cut. The arms are slim fitting, which I prefer over roomier cuts, and the length is perfect for dressy occasions. The coat fabric feels nice, but I don't like the lining fabric - it feels cheap and plastic-y. I bought a less expensive but similar coat at the rack by the same maker (with a slightly lower wool content and no cashmere). That coat has simpler styling, is 6" shorter in length, and feels softer and more comfortable on. I was originally going to choose one, but I've decided to keep the less expensive coat for daily wear and this one for dressier events. I found it to be true to size - and 8 would fit, but I opted for a 10 to accommodate layers if need be. I have long arms and the sleeves are the perfect length for me.
