Beautiful and classy
I bought this coat in camel color. It’s very well made, soft and pleasant. Fits perfectly, just a bit too long maybe. I’m 5’7”, 165 lb, and it hits a couple of inches below the knee (size12). Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

Runs extremely small. Not very soft.
When I purchased this coat, I was reluctant… I usually wear a 10 and they only had a 14 left in the Vintage Burgundy color. But I thought it looked beautiful and I like oversized coats so I thought I’d give it a try.
Let me save your money: do not buy this jacket. It runs crazy small (like I could barely get this over my shoulders) and the fabric is extremely scratchy and rough.
Yes, this is not a $1,000 cashmere coat… but it’s not exactly inexpensive, either, and you can do much better! The wool coats at Old Navy feel like a better quality than this.

Nice coat for someone taller
I bought this coat in ivory. The coat itself is lovely, soft and good quality, but it it’s just not flattering on my frame. I’m 5’ 2” with an hourglass figure, but the lapels and pockets add too much bulk to me. I’ve seen it look beautiful on taller women, but for me it’s a no.

Arms too tight
All Ralph Lauren Coats have freakishly small arms.
No matter what size you buy the arms are too tight. I love everything else about the coat. I have returned countless coats and read countless reviews and always the same complaint……what the hell???
Why ask for a review if they are never considered?
Why would any manufacturer not fix an easy problem? How stupid can they be?
News flash, coats are outer ware and people wear shirts, sweaters…..under the coat. Wake up Ralph and get with the program!

arms are way too tight
Very upset as this is a beautiful coat and I finally found one that I like, but why are the arms so tight? This coat would be perfect if not for the arms. It was so tight on my upper arms/armpit area that it causes arm numbness after like 2-3 min of wearing. I have to return it and makes me so mad. Does Ralph Lauren think women have stick arms? WTH?
